Description

County-owned park called Rose Park along the Snake River AND I-15. Open to the public. Fishing, swimming, bike/walking path, dirt bike riding etc. Also dispersed camping. Free. No services. 5 day max stay. Not busy at all. Some rough roads/paths, but any size rig can access. Pretty big area. Spots along I15 are obviously a little noisy, but didn't bother me at all.....also had the best internet. Can get pretty far from the highway and the noise if you want, but your service drops to almost nothing....so take your pick. I'm by the highway.. VZW clocks in at a respectable and consistent 24 mbps down/8 up. ATT varied....sometimes it was 3 down/1 up, other times shot up to 20 down/3 up. 40 OTA TV stations coming in. good stop if you need it. definitely nothing special. police do patrol the park...so that's a good thing!

Great little area, nice. Showed up at dusk, drove area and was completly empty. I fell Asleep and was awaken around 1230am with some people driving around the camp ground with LED lights and Spot lights. They were roaming the campground as if they were looking for something. Super Strange. I ended up packing up and leaving. Slept at a Native gas station just south. It was incredibly nice until then lol.

It’s Rose Pond, not Park. Suggest arriving during daylight so you can navigate the road to locate a camp spot. Any size RV can access- some ruts and loose gravel.
Noise- highway, train whistle, & cow mooing not too disruptive for sleeping.
Stayed on a Monday night and did not see anyone else.

Easy access right next to the freeway, tons of spots. Could fit any size rig, defiantly people living out here. Lots of in & out with four wheelers and vehicles. Tons of trash around.

Cute area with ponds. Can swim in. Beware of the gravel, my road buddy almost got stuck in her short skoolie. Even saw a 4wd spin on it. There are places with dirt patches. Also I'm almost positive a few rigs are living out here. Met a kind local who was picking up trash. Wish more people would pack in pack out.

Lovely peaceful spot on the Snake river. Camp away from the I-15 for less road noise. Great for one night although you are allowed to stay for five days. Great for self contained vehicles. There is a pit toilet. Free.

We’ll placed for i15. Recreational area with Snake river flowing through. Randomly laid out spots mainly dictated by trees which provide some shading, a pit toilet we didn’t use and we were pleased the overflowing dumpster was emptied on Friday, when the over spilled garbage was cleaned up. Nice paved paths for dog walking, supposedly no mechanised vehicles on these but who enforces that? We were there over Independence Day weekend so few random fireworks but not to late. Well used by ATV’s and motor crossers although there wasn’t any organised events so any that were there didn’t stay for long. Mainly level tent spots but not marked out so make of the spot you choose what you will. Our spot had a large fire pit set into concrete. Our 37’ A class drove in no problem after we had scouted and chosen our spot with our Jeep. The entrance and some of the tracks to the spots were was a bit rough thanks to the. OHV’s. Little noise from i15 but not worth talking about. Few light aircraft in and out of local airport but again not annoying. One sometimes two bars from T-mobile. Occasionally railroad can be heard in the distance but again didn’t annoy us. A maximum of 5 Days allowed however we stayed unchallenged for 6. Other tent campers came and went without causing any annoyance. All in all apart from the human waste we found in the bushes bordering our spot and a bit of garbage lying around, which spoilt an other wise nice area well used by families.

Was an alright stop for the night. It was easy off the highway and everything was dried up so you could park pretty much anywhere. Not many people.

Very muddy after snow melt but still lots of good spots. Helped someone who was stuck so don’t take chances. The gravel is very soft.
