Description

There are many small pull-in spots along this road. Most are only big enough for one vehicle.
This particular spot is across from a day-use only fishing access spot and has a sign prohibiting motorized and bike traffic on the trail, but nothing saying no camping or overnight parking.
Decently level, not much traffic noise at night. I get 2-3 bars of ATT service.

Latest Check-Ins

As previously described, this is a great spot for a one night stay. It is at a trail head with only one parking spot, so we were glad that we arrived when it was nearly dark and left in the morning. Make sure to park on the side of the road WITH the trail, the other side is a private drive for 3 properties. We did have enough Verizon to check email, etc

Report Check-In

Deeper back in off the main road. Road paved so less dust

Report Check-In

Not a bad spot, there’s plenty of places to hammock and the site is level enough for my ford van. Decent cell coverage on ATT. Pretty busy road and I had two motorcyclists ride thru my camp coming from the trail so expect that to happen if you stay here. Not the most quiet or private

Report Check-In

stayed two nights. pretty level for our 19ft van. trees for hammocking/shade. traffic along this road during the day, but quiets down at night. there’s one pit toilet/lake access to swim or boat directly across the street following the sign for “Paul’s Memorial Fishing Access”— 0.3 mile walk. 2-3 bars of at&t, but it acts like 0-1. you can hear a train in the distance, but it’s not close. a few people do ride their bikes/hike up the path that starts at this pull off, so don’t be alarmed. it’s honestly a great spot, considering it’s just 6 miles outside of the Apgar park entrance.

Report Check-In

Stayed here one night. A little close to the road. Quite a few cars going by in the evening but quiet at night.

Report Check-In

Stayed in this spot 2 nights, the 4 other pull ins up this road were taken. Some train noise, road can get busy at dusk from the boat launch down the road. Pull in is maybe 35 feet, not entirely level front to back, but okay enough for me. Verizon 1 bar.
