Description

A campground with electricity, water, drainage, wifi, toilets and hot showers, a laundry room and a kiosk with grilling facilities.

The campground is in the largest of the 5 Entre Rios villages settled by Danube Swabians in 1951. Danube Swabians speak German, English, Spanish and Portuguese.

The local history museum shows the history from 1680 and the cultural foundation supports various groups and traditions.
500 families came from Europe to Brazil to develop agriculture.

Barley production is important for the largest malting plant in Latin America and supplies the malt for local small beer breweries and some of the largest breweries in Brazil.

In terms of gastronomy, the Das Brot & Café Restaurant serves a typical German lunch on Saturdays and a coffee with a cake Bife in the afternoons.

Camilla and Walter are the warm and welcoming hosts.

Wonderful place. Clean facilities. Beautiful grounds with a little pond where you can feed the fish. Quiet and secure with gated premises. The hosts (Caroline and Walter) are warm and welcoming, and if you are lucky you will get an invitation to see their spectacular home with a totally modern design. The wifi is great. The grocery store is a short walk away and the store has a good selection of items. The countryside is beautiful. The nearby historical museum is fascinating.
