Description
Wonderful camping spots (2 for now) in the southern end of Cederberg. Unmarked turn off (they send you instructions when booking) up a winding hill leads you to a secluded and wonderfully basic camping spot. Check camp details, some have toilets and wash up basin with running water. Lovely small stream runs next to camp, and walking trail up streams leads to great swimming spots on hot days. Veronica & Adrian runs the camp and super friendly and welcoming! Give this spot a try.

Wonderful Bush Camp with amazing star gazing. Spent two nights here on the Sugar Bush camp spot, which is one out of two campgrounds at the moment. The spots are far away from each other and it feels like a real wild bush camp. The campground is big with several options to park the car and / or pitch the tent. Veronica and her husband want to keep it special and secluded, as opposite to more traditional campings (they are overlanders themselves and understand the preferences travelerssnd nature lovers are looking for). The access is through a steep and rocky climb, around 1 km, 4x4 and high clearance needed. Price is at 150 ZAR ppn, or 135 ZAR ppn if you spend more than 1 night. Report Check-InWhat an amazing place! Hidden behind some outcrops a beautiful little cottage with power, hot water/shower and kitchen plus free WiFi too and 2 amazing campsites! Spending 3 nights here over Xmas was sweet! Lots of hiking and discovering of the area to be done. Rock pools and a hidden cave too 👍
