We are full-timers and have a 36 ft Class A with a Cherokee Trailhawk tow and had scouted the area before arriving with the RV. NF-70 is gravel and in pretty good shape, i.e., no potholes, but is heavily washboarded. This wasn’t an issue for the Cherokee, but with a stiffer suspension, I had to limit the RV speed to less than 7 mph to keep from shaking it apart. We found a nice large and level site (43.0722212, -121.9514206) 1 mile down and just off of NF-70 and there were a few other dispersed sites near there as well. We stayed for 3 days and had the place to ourselves. There was no one else within miles of our spot and we only saw 2 or 3 cars each day on NF-70. There were a few 9mm bullet casings on the ground, so locals probably use the spot to camp and target shoot. One of the tree stumps was riddled with bullet holes. AT&T service was fair with 1-2 bars of LTE and speeds up to about 7 MB/s. We were able to get DISH coverage on one of the western satellites at our site through a gap in the trees. There were no OTA channels to be had with our fixed omni antenna.

Awesome spot. Road in is gravel and in decent shape. A little washboard but fine if you take it slow. Quite a few level spots back here. There is a fire pit and bear pole which is where we stayed. Had decent Verizon Service out here with 3 bars.
Report Check-InGreat stop with multiple areas.. rode in at 9pm no one .. had site all to ourselves.
Report Check-Inwe stayed a bit up the road, but this was a nice big spot (couple bigger campers already there). at least 2 quality sites on left hand side of road 1/4 or so miles further south that fit our 22ft transit van & could fit a bit bigger easily.
Report Check-InOnce you turn on the main road NF-70 there are tons of smaller roads that branch off where you can find really nice quiet spots to stay for the night. We are in a lifted truck and had no problems with the roads but a car with lower clearance might have more difficulty. There’s not reliable service so make sure to have maps downloaded / GPS. There’s also no water nearby so fill up beforehand.
Report Check-InGreat spot. Beautiful area under trees. Multiple spots to camp. Quiet
Report Check-InPassed a quiet and peaceful night here on our way to Crater Lake. Nice selection of spots, the road definitely gets worse the farther in you go but there were still quite a few people pulling in as the evening went by. A bit buggy while we were there but not unbearable. Only a couple bars of Verizon
Report Check-InGood location about 12 mins from the national park. Was empty for us but full of mosquitoes. Campsite had a few fire pits and lots of space.
Report Check-InLots of great spots. Can’t see or hear the next closest RV. Decent AT&T. (Had trouble with Starlink though due to all of the trees.) Recommend!
Report Check-InThere were plenty of beautiful level campsites to pick from. We didn’t see anyone in the 24 hours we were there. I work remote and had plenty of ATT and T-Mobile cell service to VPN with.
