Soldier Lake | Established Campground

Really sweet little lake with 44 campsites surrounding. Many are w we we e open for first come. Camp hosts really sweet, have solar lights at each site post.
No bear annoyance this year as berry production better than last couple years, but they do visit and leave calling card piles. Be bear aware. A bull moose occasionally would come daily to drink but not so much this past summer.
Rained on us so no fire on out stop over evening back into the states from Canada . Easy access from border Ft tho.

We came in towing a 30' TT. Nice that the road in is paved all the way around the lake and in great shape. Community water is easily and abundantly available. Bring a water bandit if you need to fill a tank. Found a level site next to the lake. Site 8. But there are many sites that can accommodate a 30 footer and larger RV. Reservations can be made but we found most sites were available FComeFS.
There's a 15' grade down to the lake so only a few sites actually have access to where you could slide a kayak down on the sandy shore. 8 does. Got robust digital TV channels (some20+) but Verizon data was only 1 bar and very slow.
Generators are ok but typical quiet hours are in effect. National cards are accepted, $10 with card $20 without.

Great campground. About 40 sites but well placed. Clean pit toilets. Would come again
