Description

Northbound rest stop off I-75 by Wapakoneta. There's a similar Southbound rest stop across the highway.

Public vending machines (snacks, coffee), water fountain, and restrooms. No restaurants. Good LTE signal with AT&T. No public WiFi.

There are a couple outdoor concrete picnic tables & steel charcoal grills. A covered gazebo has a few tables clustered together.

Semi trucks stay the night here, so there should be room for big rigs.

I stayed one night in my car and had no problem.

It's well-lit and has signs saying security cameras are in use.

It has a short walking trail with sprawling lawns dotted with trees. At night it's nice to lay out a blanket and look up at the stars.

Latest Check-Ins

Well lit, and noises from all of the trucks, but seems like a good enough place to sleep.

Report Check-In

Nice, well maintained, large rest area. Had a good night's rest. Large treed area with paved walking trail.
The car parking side slopes downhill as you enter. So, it's best to park right when you enter the car parking lot for the most level space. Typical freeway noise. Did not use the restrooms so I cannot comment on those.

One of the nicest rest areas I have seen. Picnic tables with barbecues. Nice big green area with a hiking path.
