Great place by the water. We were alone. It is part of the Lonesomehurst Campground but before arriving to the main area, turn right on Fs 167J then keep left onto Fs 167 Ja. It’s a short distance from Denny Creek Rd. What keeps everyone out is the closed gate. People think you can’t go in. However, the small sign reads “close gate after entering”. Lots of room. Road in is a rutted two track.

Such a great spot! You open the gate and keep following the road to the river! The road wasn’t bad. We made it in our 25ft RV no problem. Just go slow.
The water is great for paddle boarding. There is a little bit of seaweed on the shoreline and I did get a leech on me. So if you don’t mind those things swim away! But on the other side of the river there is much less seaweed.
We loved staying here. The dogs loved it too! 10/10 recommend.
Report Check-InBugs were nuts. Road was a little wet due to big rain but we still made it ok. Two distinct campsites on this fs road. Fish had zero interest in biting
Report Check-InThis is a legit spot. Some small craters in the road once you get through the gate, but I was able to get down it with an F-150 pulling a 21’ travel trailer. Quiet and secluded, fire rings and right next to the water!
Report Check-InClose to the water. Some Verizon cell. This is active bear country so might want to bring bear spray.
Report Check-InGreat secluded area just watch out for the mosquitoes in the summer!
Report Check-InGreat spot, remember to shut the gate. Be prepared for mosquitoes! They’re no joke here, had to spend more of my time in the van unfortunately
