2 camping spots. This one has a picnic table and bench. Sites are on the smaller size. Right on the water. Some traffic noise. Bathrooms and water spigot next door at the Lions Club park. Boat ramp available there too.
Exit 26 onto N Hamilton St. then immediately take a right. You'll see a picnic area and the forested loop with the camping sites.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Lovely spot. Picnic tables and BBQ, however, the neighborhood "police" will come bang on your door in the morning, to tell you, you can't stay here overnight. Ridiculous. No signs at all. Guess they assume they own the park. Anyway, we left, but ruined our morning by a grumpy old man. This is why we boondock, to get away from these types of people.
Report Check-InI know there’s a sign, but there are no designated campsites in this park. Look up the “maps” page for the St Croix National Scenic Riverway at nps.gov to find the designated sites; there are many in the area. At any rate, the locals aren’t shy to knock & let you know how they feel about illegal camping in this park.
Report Check-InAdding the signage photos. There is water flowing from the faucets center of park and men and women's pit toilets.
Report Check-InLegit camping allowed for 3 nights. Apparently the no camping pertains to adjacent park?.. w/e
Report Check-InThere are no signs posted that say “no camping” but we had an older couple come by during the day after we had stayed one night and they told us we were allowed to camp here. Not sure if they were just not wanting us to be there or what but we decided to pack up and leave anyway. — they told us they would call the police
