This is a USFS campground. There is a small restaurant/general store. $12/night. It’s a nice setting, but suffers from the generic problem of trash and graffiti owing to its proximity to metro LA.
The lake is small on account of the current drought.

Nice big campground. First come first serve, only $6 with Interagency Annual Pass. Lots of trails of different length around the area. Gets busy on weekends. I got here on a Thursday afternoon and had no problem finding a spot, it was pretty empty. On Friday night the cars kept rolling in and I cannot see a free site anymore now.
