From Al Ammariyah follow the unpaved road through the wadi to the escarpment. 4 wheel drive not necessary but would be preferable.
There are a few shaded trees to stop for lunch in the wadi on the way to or from the overlook.

Nice viewpoint, just like the million other points at the cliff edges. Easy getting here with a 4x4 vehicle. Might be more challenging with 2wd due to 15-20 km of soft gravel riverbed track.
