Description

Campsites with beautiful views. We had a truck bed camper and stayed on site 6 for 3 nights. Very rough road to get up to sites 4-7 - no RVs up there as they would not make it. Saw RVs on the other side sites 8-27. No bathroom up by sites 4-7. Bathroom is at the entrance at the bottom of the hill. Glad I had a camping toilet. Never drove to other side, so don’t know if they had toilets on that side. Night sky was unbelievable.

Nice place to crash for the night. Parked in a group spot and was joined by a nice couple from Colorado for the evening. Who are the aholes that put in the telephone poles? How rude ;)

Stayed here over a busy holiday weekend and it was great. This is a large spacious site that is meant to be shared by more than one party according to signs and an area volunteer helping to direct campers. We shared this site with 4 other parties (6 tents + 1 camper van) and we all fit and got along great.

Note: on the road up the hill there is a low hanging branch/tree that you need to be careful of if you have a tall vehicle. Our Sprinter just made it under.

No pit toilets by these sites, you have to walk down the road to get to them.

Small loop at end of road — spot #6 — great views (minus the telephone poles) — sort of felt like a single spot with one fire pit but 2 other small campers crashed here for the night. Sunset views are amazing — would definitely camp here again! This area filled up FAST!

About a half mile or so from here are the rest of the spots — huge group camping area — a little busier (but no power lines).

1-2 bars of LTE (AT&T) service.

This spot is fantastic. It's the final campsite up the hill and has a great view of the Tetons. Multiple vehicles can stay in one spot. Beautiful and free. Camping has to be done in designated spots and there are restrictions for RVs. Only 30 minutes (depending on which part you come from) from Grand Teton National Park.
