Something not right?

Description

Mostly a fishing lake, there are several camping spots, RV/ electric water ($22) and primitive ($17), toilets and showers, plus day use picnic areas. We intended to stay one day but liked it so we spent an extra night. Very peaceful.

Pulled in late and just pay at drop box. Beautiful place. About 22 electric spots. Only one here and the place is amazing. Clean and quiet.

Report Check-In

This place is great. The attendant takes real pride in keeping the place clean. There is clean 20 & 30 amp power and water at the sites and a dump site with rinse water available. The bathrooms looked fine but since we are in a class A we did not use them. There is minor highway and train noise but not a problem at all. Will definitely stay here again is we are even close.

Report Check-In

Came as described by previous comments. We arrived very late and were the only rig there. Had some primitive campers far from us closer to the lake. Clean. Easy parking. We did not hook up to water while there. Men’s room was locked so we all used single women’s shower and bathroom. $22 cash dropped in honor box. One person fishing in the morning. Great layover on our long trip.

Report Check-In

Spots are on grass/sand, have electric and water.

Dump station with water on property also.

Bathrooms and showers were clean and you can lock them while using.

Fee is now $22 for hookup, honor system envelope at office for after hours.

The road parallels the interstate, worth the short trek. Recommended for overnighting, especially in the summer months when you may need A/C.

We were the only ones camping here this day.

Report Check-In

Quiet on Christmas Day with only 3 other campers. Clean private bathhouse with spacious shower.

Mostly a fishing lake, there are several camping spots, but RV/ electric water ($19) and primitive ($17), toilets and showers, plus day use picnic areas. We only stopped to make breakfast but there was only one RV on a Saturday morning. Very peaceful, with background highway (I20) noise.
