I stayed overnight and a ranger came by in the morning and said this was a no camping zone and that the camp ground was up the street.
There are no signs that say no overnight parking, just the no trespassing sign across the lot
came in about 8pm, was up making breakfast about 8am and a ranger came in and told me this is a no camping zone and that the camp ground was up the street.
there are no signs that say "no overnight parking" just the no trespassing signs on the other side of the road.
if you come late and leave by 7 730 you may be fine?
it was a nice quiet place to park, has a trash can and Porta potty and walk down to the falls is nice
Stayed here overnight although we parked in the parking lot due to a small sign on a tree on the dirt road that made it seem like parking there was not allowed, stayed over night and left very early no issues and seemed very safe and quiet.
Report Check-Incamped in our van, two other people parked in the lot, felt safe and quiet! two picnic tables, a very clean porta potty and trash can. lovely short trails to waterfalls!
Report Check-InFeels very safe here, there is very little traffic on the road. There was one other van here, I stayed from midnight to 11am, no one bothered me. Would stay again
Report Check-InGreat spot, very quiet, clean, toilet, trash bin, picnic tables, access to hikes, quite a good cell signal. I was the only one here. Quite cold
Report Check-InGreat place for a night! Only ones who parked in the lot for the night, there’s a dirt road across the street one guy parked and the seemed like a good option as well. Did a hike at night to the boulders and a hike in the morning to the falls, beautiful. To the man we met from San Diego, hope to see you down south! Enjoy the travels!
Report Check-InWe had a good evening enjoying the picnic tables and a quiet night. Few cars were still parked when we arrived, around 6pm. They all left and we were alone.
The spot is very close to the road and visible, but traffic is very low.
Popular spot during the day, but completely quiet and safe at night. No cell service, but you can go to the library in town and use their wifi for free.
Report Check-InStayed one night here. Nice and quiet at night. We ended up hiking the trails in the morning to see the waterfall. Verizon service said we had 3-4 bars, however it was frankly difficult to download or stream anything. We were only able to make calls or text
Report Check-InStayed here one night in a 32ft skoolie. Felt pretty safe here even though we were the only ones here. It’s just a parking lot for trail entrance but there was plenty of room. Definitely go check out the waterfalls though it’s a very short hike. Had good service with ATT, 2 bars of LTE.
Report Check-InNice place to hike. Park across the street on a dirt road overnight. No parking signs. Seems to be public land. Enjoy!
Report Check-InPaved parking lot next to the roadside surrounded by open forest. Occasional traffic on the main road though this didn’t cause too much disturbance. Fairly open sky for stargazing. Garbage and clean porta potty. Local gas station, a small mini-mart, and a diner just down the road. Minimal cell reception - even in town!
