Description
Great find! Extra large, deep sites, far apart, most are right on lake. Beautiful campground. Many extra-clean pit toilets, water and recycling. A lot of hiking trails. About 15 sites. Dark and beautiful. Close to Grand Marais! $18 a night, $9 with a pass.

I agree with the other comment. Great place to camp. Some of the sites are very large and are right on the lake. I camped here for 4 nights with a 24’ camper (Kimberley T3 Kruiser) and a Ram 2500 truck. I wasn’t able to back into site 11 because of my overall length (44’) but I was able to pull straight in and backing out was not a problem. The only downside is the amazing number of mosquitos this time of year. I didn’t cook outside because of them even though I had a head net. Luckily I have an inside and outside kitchen!
