Something not right?

Description

Flat undeveloped boondock campsites, right on the rim of the “hole” (really a bowl), informal fire ring. 2.4 miles off Hwy 31 on FS 3150, FS 400. Towed a 17’ travel trailer. Anything bigger would be pushing the limit, narrow dirt with some big rocks to be avoided. No water, no service but workable AT&T cell coverage.

Latest Check-Ins

do not camp around the corral. chipmunks will get in your vehicle and they'll ride all the way from there. 200 miles home and then they'll start chewing on your vehicle. there is no signs stating anything about that. some people might think this is funny, but what would you do if a rodent is chewing on your vehicle? luckily we got home. next time I come there there won't be any chipmunks

huge open space. maps put out a odd route but if you keep following the end location it's pretty easy to find even when it says you're taking the wrong road. g-fi had service

We camped at the spot that looks like a corral. there's a lot of cute chipmunks. problem with the chipmunks they'll get up into your motor. chew up your wiring to your your hood protection. there's no sign stating about that Bill m needs to fix that. I'm glad I made it home after 200 mi drive. I have a store away.

I've got one bar of usable T-Mobile LTE here. Nice view. road up is a little knarly, glad I have the rear of my van lifted for it. otherwise may have hit a big rock or two. nothing too spectacular but obviously cooler than a standard roadside site.

A better access route is at Milepost 22 on Hwy 31, turn NE on FS 3125 to FS 017 (which is under a power line). Powerline section was new gravel Oct 2021 to a bit short of the campsite but good dirt on to camp.
