Something not right?

Description

The coordinates provided mark today‘s entrance gate; the entrance from the R49 is closed.
North West Parks Board is now operating the area as Mafikeng Nature Reserve (formerly Manyane Game Lodge).
We did not check out if the camp sites are in any way operational (ie power, water, toilets, etc). We arrived late, but were free to find a spot as we pleased. We elected to stay near Kolobe Dam (which is just a tiny water hole), out in the open… nobody to be seen.
We paid R25 pp (pensioner) + R20 for the vehicle... at this price I forgot to ask about the Wild Card…

Latest Check-Ins

We arrived at the gate asking for camping and although they said they don't really do that anymore, we were still brought to the Bush camp on the other side of the park. Saw lots of animals on the way there, and the camp has all the basic facilities still in place, running water, toilet, sinks, braai area, picnic tables etc. It was very peaceful except for the noises of the nearby road. We paid 390 for 2 kids and 2 adults including camping and park fees. Would def recommend!
