Large gravel pull out area next to a information kiosk. very flat and at the junction of a couple of very quiet roads. I have spent a couple of nights here with my RV with no problems. there are no signs that prohibit overnight parking. the stars were amazing the last time I stayed!

I wasn’t too thrilled about this spot, but it was a success.
All of the other forest roads in the vicinity had a yellow sign at the entrance stating they are closed to motorized vehicles from December 1 through March 31. Ended up in this spot after an hour of searching for a campsite and the sun was setting.
It’s just a pull out near the intersection of two highways, but I did not hear a single car between 9PM and 5AM.
Quiet and uneventful night. Verizon LTE was in and out, but Starlink worked great.
Report Check-InPretty quiet overnight - A little light traffic noise. One set of crunchy snow foot steps (I'm guessing a pee break - no bathroom at this site).
It was cold and clear - some of the best stars I've ever seen (comparable, if not better than atop Haleakala on this particular night). Clouded up, and warmed up, by the time we woke up.
Not far from Fort Rock State Park - worth a stop and a little hike if you're this close.
