Description

This is a very populated, very public parking lot that I decided to sleep in for the night - at around 11:00 PM, security knocked on my door and told me to move to the side of the parking lot, that Walmart does not allow you to park specifically in their lot. Having the security guard’s blessing, I figure I’ll be okay three rows over (there are other cars here tonight).

As the title says, this is very public, definitely not a place to set up shop or anything…

Noisy noisy noisy. All sorts of people yelling out, screaming girls, vagabonds wandering around. People playing basketball....screeching, racing cars. I did not get much sleep here. I would've left if my husband weren't with me. Mind, we stayed on a Friday night. Maybe it's better during weekdays

Unbothered in the area in front of walmart near the nail spa, had truckers and other car campers spending the night too so u have good company :)

I too got the blessing from a sweet security guard. They let me know that Walmart had just changed their policy but the store next door doesn’t have a Guard or any rules against staying in their parking lot so if I moved over a couple rows I would be just fine. It’s right down the road from a 24hr fitness, LA fitness, and a Home Depot. Also, patch coffee has a great espresso if you happen to hit the nearby La fitness off portola. Safe travels everyone.
