Description
Faro is a very friendly town. The RV Park / Municipal Campground is situated near the centre of the town and offers washrooms, showers and laundry facilities.
Check-in is at the Interpretive Centre across the road. The campsites have full hook-ups, fire pits and free firewood. Showers are available and included with a stay. A coin-op laundry is on site, and an RV dump station is available. Wifi is provided across the road at the Interpretive Centre.

This is more of a campground than RV park, although RVs will fit in several of the sites, and hook ups are provided. The sites are wooded and most have privacy. The bathrooms/showers and laundry are sparking clean. Lovely hiking in the area, too - camp here if you come to Faro!
Report Check-Inthis place was incredible! we planned to stop nearby and checked out the provincial campground near the highway, which was $20 and completely empty. we continued into town (not much to see, it's an old mining town with not many remaining residents) but their campground was great! their showers and laundry facilities were absolutely immaculate. cleanest I've ever been to! showers and firewood were included with the site ($18 regular, $33 with power and water). it's a great place for a one-stop shop. gas and basic groceries available in town.
Report Check-InThe people at the visitors center are very welcoming - free internet and coffee and lots of info about how the lead and zinc mine was closed (and the way they're attracting tourists now). Campground has limited capacity (about 20 RV sites and 5 tent sites, two bathrooms and two showers, one for each gender, all very clean). Tent and no hookup sites are CAD 18, RVs with 15 amp electricity pay CAD 33 per night, shower and firewood included. Two washing machines (CAD 2 per load) and two dryers (CAD 3 per load), available to non campers as well. A shower costs CAD 4 for non campers.

be sure to hike to the falls.
$27 gets you a private large site, 15 amp power, water, sewer and the best shower in the Yukon. Firewood included. We stayed 2 nights and did most of the trails round town.
Report Check-InDecent rv park. Just drove through it to review. The sites are nice and shaded saw a few pull thru sites. Laundry, dump station, hookups. The town is a depressed mining town but beautiful country.
Only one place to eat. There is a fuel station.
