A nice, brand new campsite right next to the Great East Road at Chongwe Bridge. Big rigs can park in the parking area with access to the beautiful garden. Ample space for ground tents and RTT’s closer to the river. Loose standing ablutions with option of using the facilities of a room. Room prices are ZKW 250 and camping ZKW100ppn neg. Road noise inevitable. Did not stay as it was too early and we wanted to get to Lusaka.
A very local place, a bit like staying in a village with chicken crying at night and hammering in the morning, yet it is a closed area so we felt safe. You can park your campingcar anywhere and we got a roomkey to use the toilet and shower (cold water).
She wanted KW100 per person, I said my child (13 years) should be free and that was accepted. It seems to be the last place East of Lusaka before the Bridge camp and it is difficult to find a spot to wildcamp in-between.
