Rostockberg, C14 | Wild Camping

Couldn’t find a better place to stay for the night coming from Sossusvlei as it is fenced on both side all along the road. Took us 2 hours drive from Sossusvlei.
Perfect location set back from the road in a beautiful flat field of yellow grass. Located on top of a hill, beautiful sunset. You can see the road from there in day time but we haven’t been disturbed at all. No one around and no car passing from sunset to now (8:30 am). Wind came up in the morning. Phone reception slow but working.

Epic camp spot, easy find right next to the road but over the hill kinda so your not entirely visible, big rig friendly, absolutely insane sunset and sunrise, no one around, 2 cars passed in the morning, highly recommend

Beautiful spot with a great sunset. Totally quiet at night, only one car past the main road after 6pm. Grassy at this time of the year. Make sure you park on one of the few gravel spots, because of the fragile ecosystem. You’re visible from the road.

Open and quit spot on gravel. Beautiful 360 view.
If you drive up the hill on C14, you'll have to drive slowly to find the road on your right side (coming from Sossusvlei).

Good Bushcamp ca 500 m from C14 on a good track that seems to be a seldom access to Rostock Ritz Farm. Nice mountain and desert views, H+ MTC-Signal.
