Electricity comes mainly from solar panels. Clean and nice rooms. Good breakfast is included to room prices. Quiet place, surrounded by a small rural village. Owner Baraka speaks good English and is a very friendly guy. Prices are 70000 Tsh for a banda/cabin, 60000 Tsh for a permanent tent and 20 000 Tsh for your own tent.

Baraka created a little paradise here at the shore of Lake Victoria. Wonderful garden and he is an amazing host.
Camping is still not developed yet, but there is 1 very nice spot reachable in the garden if you have a popup camper or similar. It’s a tight squeeze but has shade all day long.
Still 20000 per person, a good breakfast included.
Baraka will give you a tent with a view into the garden and to the lake. Hot water for shower and western style toilet.
There is electricity to charge a laptop or a phone.
Bonfire each evening.

Great place to recover. Campsite still not ready, so we got a tent with toilet and shower for the price of the camping. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed it. Internet works most time but slow.
This place is absolutely recommendable.
Internet not so great, wifi works most of the time but slow. Halotel is not faster... 4 bars 3G.

An amazing little hidden gem!! The campsite is still being built so you do get upgraded to one of their tents which are super nice! They charge 20 000 pppn for overlanders which includes a HUGE and delicious breakfast. They make a bonfire for you and the staff are all very friendly. It’s a great stop over and we could have definitely stayed longer. Highly recommend

Camping site is still under construction so we were offered a permanent tent with bathroom for the same price, very nice. The food is really good and they are very flexible with making dinner late. Beautiful garden and nice place to watch the sunrise at the lake!

One of the nicest and most relaxing places we stayed at during our 6 weeks in Tanzania.
Baraka is a awesome host, the tents and rooms are very comfortable and spotless.
Best of all is the food, definitely order food when you are there.

A rather disappointing experience: We were looking forward to stay there with our roof top tent and had booked an additional bungalow for my parents. After a long journey from Bukoba with two little children in the car, we were asked upon arrival to wait for more than an hour, only to be then told, that despite our booking there was no bungalow available. Apparently the manager had changed his mind and offered the bungalows to a bigger group, but he did not even bother to inform us. We were forced to continue our travels to look for a hotel in Mwanza, where we arrived after dark.
An obviously poorly managed and quite unfriendly place to stay. We will certainly not come again.
