A big area right by the river. Grills, and tables under big trees. Grassy and very nice. It’s free!!! Looks like it is used by fishermen. No facilities, but we were the only ones here.

Latest Check-Ins

Two park rangers came by and said this is NOT AN OVERNIGHT place. If your lucky you may stay a night or two. I am here on a Thursday and they came by at 9am. There’s a boat launch ramp. Spots to fish. Beautiful picnic area with new restrooms and trash cans. There’s a couple more camp places up the road called rising star that’s $19 a night.

Awesome spot! If you enter from the west, you can avoid that tight 180 turn, gravel road from east is pretty rough. One bar LTE T-mobile. flush toilets, sink with running water. Very dark, not a single lamp pole.

Report Check-In

This spot is really only suitable for class B vans and truck campers. The last .8 mi is a 1.5 lane gravel road. There is then a sharp almost 180 degree turn followed by two sharp crested hills that could give long wheelbase vehicles trouble.

Report Check-In

Closed, gate is locked. No information signs at all. Looks like a nice place though. They seem to be making some updates to the area...restrooms and new lighting. Alas, it must be closed for the season. Rough road for a few miles getting to it and no room to turn a trailer around at the gate.

Report Check-In

Closed gate across the drive. No signs anywhere to explain why.

Report Check-In

gate locked looks like nice facility which we could enjoy it. we stopped a local and he said that it closes November 1st for the season
