Description

This is the most amazing spot!! Gorgeous campsites, unbelievably beautiful, clean bathrooms with free hot showers. Walking distance to Lake Geneva. Two nearby lake front restaurants (The Boathouse Bar & Grill and The Geneva Inn). Plan at least 2 nights here to fully enjoy Lake Geneva! Here in mid-October and plenty of spots available. Fantastic weather!

super nice spot! we were only going to stay for a night but ended up staying for two. it's kind of in a residential area (and by residential I mean Waterfront mansions), but across the street is a really nice beach! the campground itself has a dump station and fresh water fill by the entrance. the showers are private, lockable stalls. all are pretty clean! sites 87-91 are right next to the bathroom/shower Pavillion. we stayed at 88 our first night and then moved to 90 our second night. 88 is pure sunshine (if you need to charge up some batteries). 87 and 90 and pretty much entirely shaded. all the sites are pretty close together but there's still a firepit, picnic table and some form of grassy area. the main road between sites is paved and the parking area at each site is gravel.

the camping fee was $25 USD per night (which can be booked and paid for online), plus a $11 USD per night vehicle fee? that needed to be paid at the campground, in person whether by self pay (envelope with exact change or cheque) or by credit at the ticket booth. we didn't see anybody at the ticket booth either day and only had 11 $1 bills that we used the first night, so we weren't able to pay for the second day's vehicle permit.

The campsite was closed but the gate was open and we were able to use the sani dump and fill with fresh water. There was no one there to collect money if there was supposed to be a charge. No signage mentioning anything about a charge.
Too bad they were closed. We were looking forward to saying here.
