Latest Check-Ins

Camped here last night, chill spot in the back. Construction workers came early in the morning but didn’t bother us.

Report Check-In

Great place for the night. Some kids came in and spun a bunch of donuts. But they left soon after they arrived and it was otherwise quiet.

Report Check-In

Ok for having lunch, but close for overnight . Close after 11hp/m until 5am. Police pass every night and given ticket.

Report Check-In

Would be a great spot except for the exceptionally loud train running in intervals throughout the night. If you are considering this spot, bring earplugs. Or sabotage the train line? 🤔

Report Check-In

No longer allowed to park here. People were leaving their stuff there overnight and leaving trash all over the place. Police will kick you out around 11pm/12am and send you to the Walmart down the road.

Report Check-In

seems pretty safe and relatively quiet for a night. several others here: vans, rvs, and trailers.

Report Check-In

Stayed here overnight with no issues. It was a Saturday night so there were many cars/trucks driving in and out of the lot all night. It was noisy because it’s a gravel driveway. Also the train is nearby and blows a loud horn a couple times during the night. If you are a light sleeper I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Otherwise it was peaceful and beautiful to wake up to the lake.

stayed here one night, very peaceful trail, pond is nice-lots of visitors, Porta potty dirty, bathroom still closed.

We slept one night here. Very beautiful place with bicycling , swimming is possible in the lake. But train passes every 45 min until midnight until about 7-8. Very noisy with horns several times! If don’t need a lot of sleeping is perfect. But we move for the second night.

One of the best spots I've had outside of a National Forest or paying campground. A bunch of people stay here overnight in the summer, but everyone stays to themselves and is going their own thing. It's true that people stay at the park until it closes ~10. when I was there the bathrooms weren't open. The lake was really nice and it felt like a safe spot.

nice place, quiet, with toilets, with a tiny lake

Report Check-In

Not a bad spot for one night. Good Verizon service which is what I’ve been on the search for. Flush toilets still closed but there are porta potties. Other campers/vans here so felt safe. Busier during the day but clears out like others said at night. There’s the main parking by the lake and then some parking spots I guess under different trees, would’ve preferred one of those but all taken. Not a fan of the train as it can get pretty loud but all and all, good for a quick night!

Report Check-In

Spent one night here. A few other campers did as well. Restrooms open in the summer, but they have port a potties too. Dirt parking lot. Quite a few cars coming through weird hours, but we slept fine and we weren’t disturbed.

Great spot for a night. A number of other vehicles including vans. Mostly quiet but did hear a few trains.

Report Check-In

Quiet spot to spend the night near the city. Along with my truck camper there was one van and two tents. There were porta-potties. Busy with locals during afternoon/evening but empties out at night.

Report Check-In

Not a bad spot to camp out, flush toilets were closed for the season but there was a pit toilet available, little beach and some locals swimming. Some road noise and a train but nothing major. Close to MAP Brewing.

Report Check-In

Nice park with plenty of space on a little lake. Very quite at night. There are also several covered table areas for public use. No signs indicating camping overnight is not ok.
