Something not right?

Description

A beautiful wildlife management area. Open grassy “parking” area that could fit a few vans or 1-2 small rigs. No one around you. Peace and solitude. Beautiful sunsets. The stars at night are absolutely amazing. Full view of the Milky Way.
Verizon had full service. T-Mobile had 2 bars. Att hotspot had 3 bars.
There is a train that goes by often in the distance but it was far enough to be more soothing vs annoying. The road to get in is a gravel road but well maintained with no potholes and was an easy drive.
No hookups/no facilities. No trash bins available. Pack in pack out.

Beautiful views but ticks everywhere. Our dog was out for less than ten minutes and we pulled at least 5 ticks off of her. Too bad - it’s a great spot otherwise.

Great place to pull off and sleep for a night. Easy road in and big enough to turn around with a small trailer.

Nice big grass lot. Was able to pull in with truck and 30ft RV and turn around. Arrived at night it was fairly quiet and very peaceful. Heard a large pack of coyote’s at 1am.

Wonderful little spot out in what feels like the middle of nowhere. A little after entering the gate there is a really nice flat spot you can set up but I had worse cell reception in that area so I set up camp right outside the gate. Occasional sounds of farm machinery and a few coyotes throughout the night but I did not hear any trains. Perfect spot to pitch a tent or park up right of 80.

Stayed at the other WMA just west of here last November, it's just the same. Great little spots that are secluded and off the beaten trail and typically beautiful. Of note, make sure you have a back up gas station or car wash to sprint to in case a tornado with baseball sized hail decides to strike...

Also if you find my orange Bluetooth speaker it's all yours. It is waterproof so it might still be functional!

This is a small lot that looks like it used to be gravel but tall grass has taken most of it over. It's a beautiful and secluded spot! Watch out for ticks! We also saw a skunk while we were here. Good Verizon reception.

They weren’t kidding about the trains, I’ve been hearing them every 20 minutes or so. But yes, they are far away
