Between the beach, the restaurant El Chiringuito, LA kitchen and the food truck area Jardin Tamarindo is a wide public parking.
We arrived there by night. Locals said no issue to stay there, you might have to pay during the day, we left at 9 am and had seen no one asking for money. Locals said worth to give 300-400 colones if it happens.
Not that quiet because of the night restaurants/clubs around so you hear some loud people at bar closure time, but felt safe.
Just next to the beach which is great in the morning.
We had a drink at LA kitchen, very friendly owner who let us use the toilets during the night and gave us quite some advice.
