iOverlander cannot verify if wild camping is permitted at this location. It is your responsibility to verify local laws or obtain consent before staying the night.
This is a parking lot for the dam and an access point for the Saugeen River that is run by the Ministry of Natural Resources. There is a washroom and picnic tables and lots of fishermen and paddlers in the river. The parking lot has no "no overnight" or "no camping" signs so I think it's good. Not directly on a road, fairly hidden in the bush. No cell signal in the lot but there is signal by the water. Very quiet at night.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
This site now has a no camping sign posted. It appears whole this area has no wild camping allowed.
