Description

The city office wants you to call and let them know who is there. We stayed for three days and were fine in a 36' Class A.
The town here allows primitive camping in this Riverside park. You can check their website. (No need to call or register). I assume they want you to by the picnic pavilions but it is not quite clear where the camping is allowed. I parked overnight in the parking lot but you could tent camp here too. There are garbage cans and porta potties. Very dark and quiet, just a bit of train noise every so often.

We stayed here in a 36" class A for three days. Yes please call the city to make sure there are no activities if you are camping there. They are very welcoming just understand there are currently no amenities. There are porta potties but no access to bathrooms or running water at this time. Maybe because it is still cold? The road is steep and narrow but we had no problem with the MH getting down into the park or up out of it when we left. The park is well used during the day and into the evening but tends to calm down during the night with only traffic from others that are staying the night. Again please call the city, they appreciate the heads up.

Description matches previous comments. Park was busy during the evening, cooked dinner at the covered picnic tables. Two clean porta potties in the parking lot, full restrooms were closed for the season but there was a spigot on the outside of the building near the playground for freshwater fill up. The morning was quiet.

As others say. Really quaint little park next to a stream with picnic tables and shelter over the tables. It is completely okay to stay overnight as we were visited by the local police before going to bed. Some pranksters called them about a women screaming. They were very cordial and politely apologized about knocking on our van and said something about a prank call. It was a great place to stay for a rest during the day and overnight as well. Very clean and well maintained.

it's a nice little park, but it was visited until late by a couple of young people goofing around in their cars and intentionally turning their brights on while aiming them directly at me. At about 11pm I sought out another place to stay.

Pretty much explained very well in previous check-in
I didn’t park in parking lot, I parked off to the side of lot. Alongside the River. Flat level Spot.

A busy community park. Steep narrow road in, was fine in our 24ft RV but best not to meet another car on the way up! Lots of parking places. Kids playground. Toilets locked at night. Occasional train noise.

City park. was very quiet and dark. has about 5 camp spots with charcoal grills and tables. stayed over night in a F250 truck camper.

Parking in the parking lot near Pavillon. I called city and they said it was fine to park overnight here

Interesting small City Park along the river. porta johns, trash cans, some picnic pavilions, and even a disc golf course. There's a little road noise from an elevated road crossing the middle of the park, but it's not bad.
Visit here for an hour in the early morning on my way to another campsite.
Would not see any problems van camping in the parking lot overnight whatsoever.
According to a town resident I spoke to, Tent camping is allowed anywhere in the park.
