Description
Free national forest campground with 3 sites. Each has a picnic table, old stone shelter , and fire pit. There's also a bit of parking for vans or RVs near the picnic pavilion. It's very quiet, right on a nice creek. You can hike to the abandoned "upper" portion of the area which is kind of spooky and cool. Pit toilet available, very minimal Verizon service.

This place seems really nice! The south entrance that Google maps shows is closed, so use the north entrance. The view of the river is amazing and there's several camping spots with shelters and picnic tables. Pit toilets, marked Mens and Women's. The door to the men's was broken.
