Spacious, calm, great that it’s free, showers with hot water, clean bathrooms. There was only a few other cars when we were there on a Friday. Pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. No complaints whatsoever, a great place to place in Catamarca. It was 35 degrees centigrade when we stayed here so spent a very hot, uncomfortable night! But that is no reflection on the campsite :)

I had the misfortune of arriving Easter week. San Juan Estanciera Club came here the next morning. Noisy at night with engines and horns on and off all through the night. There was still space left but it was busy. The police sometimes cruise through so it feels secure. I left my tent to go into the city and had no problems. I left early because of the car club. Potable water is available from the faucet outside the small white building near the gatehouse.

Camping gratuito. Conta com banheiros, ducha, energia, parrillas. Não possui Wi-Fi e não pega sinal de celular. Acabamos não ficando porque estava chovendo muito e nos alertaram que poderíamos ficar ilhados, já que antes do camping existe um rio.

Camping municipal e totalmente gratuito. Instalações limpas, incluindo banheiro e duchas quentes, local para lavar louça e roupas. Boa iluminação e churrasqueiras excelentes. É possível compras pão, carvão e bebidas não álcoolicas, entre outras coisas. O melhor de tudo foi o atendimento, superior a muitos camping pagos. Recomendo muito.

La acampada municipal es totalmente gratuita. Instalaciones limpias que incluyen baño y duchas con agua caliente, lugar para lavar platos y ropa. Buena iluminación y excelentes parrillas. Es posible comprar pan, carbón y bebidas sin alcohol, entre otras cosas. Lo mejor de todo fue el servicio, superior al de muchos campings de pago. ¡Altamente recomendado!

Camping municipal entièrement gratuit avec électricité, sanitaires avec eau chaude. Piscine et petite épicerie. Situé à 5 km du centre ville.

Stayed at this free campground for a night. We got there about 23:00 at night and there were still a lot of people up, but they were all quiet and we slept well! The free hot morning shower was AMAZING (first hot shower in 8 days). Great place, would highly recommend!

Hermoso camping gratuito, con abundante sombra, parrillas, agua potable, pileta y baños con agua caliente. Difícilmente encuentres un lugar mejor que este, incluso pagando. La verdad mis felicitaciones al municipio de la ciudad. (es gratis por 3 dias)

Sencillamente espectacular. Un
Camping municipal con paisaje, servicios y atención superior a muchos de gestión privada. Agua potable, fría y caliente en duchas, piletas de lavado de ropa y vajilla. Parrillas bien equipadas.
No hay señal de Internet, detalle menor entre tantas cosas positivas.

Free and official camping area. It is a very wooded park with many grills, playground for children, sports court and swimming pool from January to February. Every grill has a light point where you can plug in your cable. It has tanks for washing clothes and washing dishes. Bathrooms were very clean and have a shower. All facilities have hot water and are close to the camping area.

Área gratuita e oficial para campismo. É um parque bastante arborizado com muitas churrasqueiras, parque para crianças, quadras de esporte e piscina de janeiro a fevereiro. Toda churrasqueira tem um ponto de luz onde você pode conectar seu cabo. Tem tanques para lavar roupa e lavar louça. Os banheiros estavam bastante limpos e tem chuveiro. Todas as instalações contam com água quente e ficam perto da área de camping.

a great place to spend the night and totally free! You just need to write your name in a book at the entrance but afterwards the campsite is super big with taps everywhere, benches and tables with barbecues. The showers are hot and free and much cleaner than the description in the last reviews! The police will tell you that the campsite is closed, but that's not true;) enjoy!

un super endroit pour passer la nuit et totalement gratuit ! Vous avez juste besoin d'écrire votre nom dans un livre a l'entrée mais après le camping est super grand avec des robinets partout, des bancs et des tables avec des barbecues. Les douches sont chaudes et gratuite et bien plus propre que la description des derniers commentaires ! La police vous dirons que le camping est fermé mais c'est faux ;) enjoy!

We arrived at a weekend and there was a loud party with some hundred people, impossible to find a place. Do not go to the minicamping some km above, it is a dirty ripoff.

Most families left before dark. Looks like it will be a quiet night.
The smell in the mens toilets and showers is more than overwelming. Maybe due to the lack of water, just a trickle. Used the ladies toilets, far less smell there.
No one swimming; no water in the pool.
No administration, so free.

At the time was free of charge. Even the showers went for free. Locals told us it's a service of the Muncipalidad. There is a large pool and plenty of fireplaces. Some local famalies around, very quite during the night!

we were there on a monday. lot of trash everywhere from the weekend! local people in tents made noise all night long. dirty and dusty campground. only for one night and sure not for to stay on a weekend. we paid for two and a pick up camper 63.00 pesos.

5 km from main square, Plaza 25 de Mayo, where the tourist office is in the NE corner. Looks like it will cost 15 ARS for camionetta and same again for 2 people. We got here just after the office closed on a Noisy Sat night. Will have to pay in the morning, if we don't leave before they open!
