one of my favorites for the colder seasons in bend, it is time I share with the community. huge pit of some kind on one side where I often hear coyotes yelping. great signal on all carriers. some pedestrian traffic from college kids living in the upscale apartment next door but all harmless. spent over 30 nights here without a problem. location is primo for century highway or bend's westside

Great place! Good WiFi, and multiple other vans parked here. Will be sleeping here again.
Report Check-InGreat spot very close to Deschutes River, Mill District etc. Several vans parked at night and gone during the day. No one seems to be bothered by it. There's a mix of apartment buildings and offices and very little traffic.
Added benefit: free open guest WiFi from Horizon Line Personal Training that reaches out to the street and a little bouldering spot and trails around that big dirt pit
Report Check-Inslept here for 2 nights. close to town, quiet, nobody bothered us. several vans around.
Report Check-InSever dozen spots to parallel park on the curb (not that it’s crowded) on either side of the street for a good quarter mile. Quiet, traffic seems to die down mostly around 8pm or so.
Cell service is fantastic. Pokémon gyms couple hundred feet in either direction.
It’s a real win-win!!!
Truly so dark and quiet! Got a great sleep :) lots of other campers so I felt safe. Would stay here a couple more days but I’m heading down south.
Report Check-InSolid spot! Not too busy, no knock or nothing, and a few other vans there as well. They are doing construction across the street so if you’re not an early riser, you’ll get woken up.
Report Check-InIt's a spot for sure. We are in a 35 foot skoolie and we were here for a night, but we quickly found other locations in bend that were more amicable to us. This is a bit of a busy road, especially on concert nights, and being as big as we were we stuck out into the road a bit too much for my comfort. I was worried someone would hit us for the whole night.
There were a bunch of vans parked here for the night though. Definitely do-able, we weren't bothered, but there are better options if you are in a larger vehicle
Intermittent road traffic until midnight but after that completely quiet. Felt safe and unbothered overnight with two dogs.
Report Check-InGreat spot. Really popular vanlife spot. You can find a pretty decent spot, but if course the street slopes down towards the curb, so won't be perfect. Great service. Met some cool people there as well. Beautiful area. Safe. Clean.
Report Check-InGreat spot to rest after a day in town running errands and doing chores. Beautiful sunset. Quiet night of sleep.
Report Check-Inthis spot is great. plenty of parking and relatively quiet throughout the night. lots of other vans parked here - felt very safe!
Report Check-InPlenty of space. Lots of other campers parked along the road as well. Good place to stop for the night!
Report Check-InGreat spot. Lots of other vehicles and vans parked. Quiet. No disturbances. Great if proximity to town/ convenience/ cell service are priorities (or perhaps you are doing the Ale Trail in Beervana!)
Report Check-InParked here tonight. 1 other RV. Is incredibly quiet and appears to be a safe neighborhood
Report Check-InStayed here a couple nights while visiting to snowboard. Agree with what others have mentioned.
Just want to add it’s 5 min from the park and ride shuttle bus up Mt Bachelor.
Report Check-Instayed here two nights with no problems. Street parking across from an apartment building with quite a few other vans when we pulled in at 9pm. Feels very safe and is pretty quiet. The street starts to get really busy with students around 8am, so leaving before then is probably a good plan!
Report Check-InAs described, awesome place to hunker down right in town during the winter. The further west you go, the quieter it gets. Stayed here three nights with no problems.
Report Check-InNice street parking, wide grassy shoulder and sidewalk. Lots of different vans and cars parked along here, glad we showed up a little earlier for choice spots. Easy to bike downtown from here. Very quiet, everyone kept to themselves. Downside is no public toilets nearby.
Report Check-InStreet side parking near apartments and medical buildings. also beside a gravel pit of some kind. there is a little park with a climbing boulder and good sidewalks for dog walks
Report Check-InStreet parking near apartment complex. Drove in around 10pm, several other campers & vans already there, several others setting up. Some cars driving by but no issues. Would stay again.
Report Check-InAwesome stays, right outside of town! We’ve stayed here for four nights and it’s been perfect.
Report Check-Inwas here on the 22nd and 26th. still open, however more traffic than previously stated and one car drove by honking its horn. Other than that, perfectly fine. several other vans, busses around.
Report Check-InLots of street parking. Relatively quiet except for a few cars passing by at night and in the morning. A few other vans and several cars parked along the street overnight. No one bothered.
Report Check-InIt’s a legit spot. Saw a few others campers here. Stayed here 2 nights without issue. Amazing cell service, would stay again
