Latest Check-Ins

Stayed here one night with our trailer. Not a bunch of parking but enough. Slightly loud but not too loud. It was tough to find a semi level spot. We weren’t bothered at all and the view was very nice. Busy during the day. Very steep hill leading to the top with no turnaround opportunity once you start.

tried this. I have a truck camper and the incline is very steep. no level spots at the top and low hanging trees. vans or cars should be no problem but we didn't stay.

Nice view over the town good for one night stop before visiting Algonquin. It started off quiet but around midnight a group of local young people arrived and were making a lot of noise, didn’t leave for a while. Should be ok on a weekday not a weekend if you want a peaceful sleep.

Car park with nice views above Huntsville.

Stayed her eon a Saturday night, it was busy with visitors until after sunset then we were the only van in the car park. No signage at all about parking, so I would assume that you are able to stay here other nights during the week.

There is a fair incline to reach the top so much older campers may not be suitable. Not a lot of turnaround space either at the top of the car park. Walking into town took about 20 minutes, and it was a beautiful stroll.

We saw deer and porcupines while we were stopped. Altogether it's a great spot. There is a slight lean on the hill. We did not have any blocks and had a good night sleep, just needing to change direction our heads rested in.
