Street parking in a nice, quiet residential area. Right in front of an assisted living center. About a 2 block walk to some local businesses with public toilets. We asked a police officer and he said we could park on any Melbourne city street overnight as long as there isn’t a sign stating no parking. Very easy to find a big spot for our van. Saw some neighbors in the morning and no one seemed to mind.

Spent the night here in our van, spot is as described, it was quiet and relatively dark. No issues, and decent room to park there was only one other car parked in this area.
