A place 200 meter from information centre where tracking starts. Some helpful and friendly staff. But owner was very rude and couldn’t take any negative feedback. They help you also with negotiating the best group. Good food. Clean rooms.. We paid $120 per room for 2 persons including all meals and lunchbox for tracking. Update: Rooms are very outdated and damp, smelled of mold. Not worth the $120! Camping $10/pppn. Ablutions are run down.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Unfortunately, we had a totally different experience. $10/pppn for camping. You can park on green, birds around and some view to Bwindi forest, but it gets muddy when it rains. Ablutions very run down and shower was cold. The rooms were absolutely awful: smelled of mold, damp and very outdated. They asked $120(!) when they’d be really worth maybe $20. So hugely overpriced! The shower in a room which we were allowed to use instead of cold ablution shower was lukewarm at its best. Some staff friendly but the owner/manager was very rude and just couldn’t take any negative feedback. We didn’t try their food. Overall pretty run down place with bad management, do not stay. Go elsewhere! NOT worth it!
