In season the music of the paradores is heard on the shore of the front. Very crowded in summer for the shade and a good place to cool off.

Great spot on the lake! No facilities, but plenty of trees. Just don't leave a mess! Very quiet with just the sounds of water birds nearby. If you drive along the road a bit along the lake on the right hand side there is a flat grassy opening right on the lake shore.
Strong 4/4.5g signal on Claro and Movistar, although they occasionally swapped to bad 3g for some reason. It was very stormy the night we stayed...
