Report Check-In

Many car cruisers, definitely not suitable for Saturday evenings. Relatively visible and noisy from the bridge. We went to Sam‘s nearby.

Report Check-In

Passed 2 cops in the parking lot entrance they followed me, light me up and proceeded to tell me there is no overnight parking here. Told me I could stay the night but had to leave first thing in the morning. park at your own risk.

NOT ALOWD TO STAY HERE
local police are getting annoyed by travelers here, cane up to us and another vehicle. consider this place closed. there is a camp ground across the river for only $5

Report Check-In

Arrived on a Tuesday evening. Stayed the night no issues. A cop car showed up around 10pm and didn't say anything to us. We were one of two vehicles there. Great little spot with bathroom and picnic tables next to water. 10/10 would stay again.

Report Check-In

A very large parking lot, fairly level. You can hear slight traffic from the bridge close by but hardly noticeable. Very quiet night. A few locals came by but the lot is very large and it was not an issue. There is flush toilets with running water. There is a water tap outside with a hose for rinsing off boats. Didn’t chance it in case it was not potable. We would definitely come back here.

Report Check-In

Stayed here two nights while spending some time in Savannah. Bathrooms were clean and useable. Large parking lot with two other van over night.

Meet some nice locals the first morning walking their dogs. Would come back if in the area.

Report Check-In

I wouldn’t recommend an overnight here, lovely and secluded as it is. We tried — and there were a few other rigs parked as well. Maybe we were just unlucky but we all got window-knocks in the middle of the night from the police. They were respectful but let us know that it’s illegal to stay overnight there. We ended up in the Planet Fitness parking lot nearby.

Report Check-In

Excellent spot for a night. Large parking lot for boats and trailers. Dark and safe. Flush toilet, picnic tables, and nice water for kayaking. Please be quiet and stealth to keep this available for others. FYI: dozens of feral cats wander around the parking lot. Harmless, but roaming.

looking for water... has it, but not sure if potable or not

Report Check-In

Stayed here for 2 nights. pretty nice big parking lot. Cops came through both nights and seemed to check on people in cars each night, which was weird. They left me and another van alone though. Cops were slightly sketch but id stay again, Overall a nice spot and never got a knock.

Report Check-In

A large parking lot at the boat ramp. Well lit up, big rig friendly. A couple vehicles came and went throughout the night but very quiet and comfortable. There’s a gazebo with picnic tables associated with the adjacent public beach. No “No Camping” signs or any indication that parking overnight is not permitted. We would stay here again.
