Great little spot nice and quiet. No amenities that’s worth staying for dry camp stayed last night. Decided to spend the day here relaxing looking at the views definitely recommend it if you’re coming through.
Report Check-InNice quiet spot for any sized rig. Very easy to get to the visitor center in Capitol Reef.
Report Check-InSpacious and easy to reach. Nothing to break line of sight if there are multiple people staying but loads of room to spread out. Even at the beginning of summer it was cool and windy here during the night and morning.
Report Check-InGorgeous spot! Only 3 other campers there. No difficulty reaching with 2WD. No Verizon service.
Report Check-In(don’t park next to the bathrooms/park sign, camping is not allowed there) go up the hill across the bathrooms and there are plenty of places to spread out and camp w/beautiful views! no Verizon or AT&T service. easy access into the park (less than a 15 min drive to the visitor center)!
Report Check-InGreat open area with awsome 360 degree views. Many spots with fire rings.
Report Check-In2 gender neutral vault toilets and map of park. Decent gravel circle lot, signs for no camping.
Report Check-InGreat place of dispersed camping with great views of sunset and sunrise.
Report Check-InVery nice place. Great view over canyon and Mountains. We love it. Easy access. A lot of space. We enjoyed it. Nice 🌆
Report Check-InWonderful 360° view, fairly leveled lots and easy access from the road for 26ft motor home, quite a few sites and would fit big rigs. Arrived around noon from the fruita campground and enjoyed the afternoon.
Report Check-InAmazing spot for sunset and stars. No amenities but a pit toilet at the bottom of the road down the hill. Plenty of space for multiple rigs and turnarounds.
Report Check-InBeautiful panoramic views just up the hill from Hwy 24 outside the Natl Park. Easy access and room for 10 or so camps. Limited to no cell coverage on this side of the Park.
Report Check-InStayed for 3 nights with snow one day. No problem getting in and out. Nice and close to the park.
Report Check-InWide open and incredible canyon views. Any suv can get in there, AWD cars can with some attention to driving. Cell service and good breeze. Ended up staying in west entrance area, East was empty though.
Report Check-InWe spent the night here after checking out the West Entrance of Capital Reef NP. We were the only ones here except for a camper van on the lower loop. Less windy here, quiet and scenic. We enjoyed it.
Report Check-InNice view all around.
3 larger areas that people can share. Please share. ;)
Probably harder to get in with larger RVs.
