We spent the night here after being escorted by the police at night from the field by the acueducto de padre. It was dark when we got a knock on the van by the police saying it was dangerous here and they feared we would be robbed or kidnapped. We are no pussies, but took the police advice to this field. Maybe a place to stay if you are stuck , it is an ok spot we slept ok and left in the morning.

La police a été tres prévenante avec nous et a organisé un tour de la ville avec le directeur de l’office du tourisme. Nous avons pu visiter la plus ancienne hacienda, gouté a la spécialité locale “la Burra” de la boulangerie du centre du village. On est donc restés un jour de plus dans ce village très tranquille et des habitants aussi gentils.
