Large clearing off a long, and winding dirt road which is okay in some areas but poorly maintained in most others. Huge fire pit in the middle of the site with space for several vans, two or three RVs/busses, or 20 tents. Daytime is pretty quiet save for gunfire in the distance from the Uchee Shooting Range. Nights are silent and peaceful with the occasional howls of local coyotes.
Zero facilities. Decent cell reception.
Please be respectful of other visitors and the forest.
WARNING: This site gets hunters and gun enthusiasts regularly. We spent two days cleaning up 19 gallons worth of shotgun shells, bullet casings, glass, nails, and all kinds of other rubbish. It could be a *really* nice place, but we all need to do our part to take care of it.

the ride around the loop was an adventure in a class B with car in tow but we made it. IN THE DAYLIGHT. I don't recommend trying it 8n a large vehicle after dark. there are lots of washed out areas on the road that would definitely be a problem if you went in. the fire ring was piled with half burnt trash but the stay was quiet and the stars were beautiful.
Report Check-InNice back country place. Primitive. Our E250 XL handled the gravel roads just fine. Big circle fire pit toward the end of the road.
Report Check-InI stayed here two nights. No issues. Some gun shots but at a distance. Very little traffic, maybe 2-3 locals. Campsite 8, which this is was not difficult just go slow. Camper-vans I would recommend, not big rigs.
