Nice! Quiet, level. Lots of cars earlier for soccer matches but sweet after dark. Let’s keep it clean folks!
Report Check-InOne of the best nights sleep I’ve had during van life. Despite crazy rain and wind, I slept like a baby and felt super safe. Ground was level, few other cars in the lot (safety in numbers), super quiet AND even had WiFi. Not super strong but good enough to download some shows. Highly RECO.
Report Check-InGreat spot. Really calm. We park in front of the soccer field. Nobody bother us.
Report Check-InWonderful night. few people coming in the morning, but haven't noticed it before opening the door. no noise, no lights, safe, flat surface. do recommend!
Report Check-InGood place for the night. Had no issue. we ve parked with a 20 foots travel trailer near the garbage bin. Hide from the street by the trees. Was quiet !
Report Check-InWe arrived late morning the lot was almost empty there are a couple of lots to choose from. We took a Lyft into Charleston spent the day. We found a nice spot under some trees and spent a nice quiet night. It was raining really hard the next morning so we hung out until the rain subsided around noon. We are here in the winter so could be busier in other seasons with games.
Report Check-InQuiet night, several other vans in parking lot here and in vicinity overnight. Good Verizon signal. Work on the field started very early in the morning so we moved along.
Report Check-InWe arrived at around 10pm and love the spot! Bathroom was accessible as well so that was a plus! Nobody bothered us. I even had my generator out.
2nd night had a truck sneak in and lights off facing us and we were a little creeped out and we just decided to pack up and leave and go to a truck stop station (Pilot). If you’re brave it’s a good spot. I had my wife and 2 kids with me so I just didn’t want to take any risk if it was going that way.
Report Check-InLarge level lot, can handle big rig just stay to the hedge row. Stayed 2 nights with no issue.
Report Check-Inno signage. class A 40' with tow dolly. pulled parallel to tennis courts with cargo vans.
Report Check-InSpent a quiet night here. Soccer games on all 3 fields so we parked by the stadium.
Report Check-InGreat place fie a night or two. We parked between the Charleston Battery baseball field and soccer fields. Two portable toilets are on on field. Free Wi-Fi from the baseball field or College of Charleston nearby. Police drove thru at least once but didn't stop. We heard coyote cries during the night.
Report Check-InThe best parking lot boondocking we’ve experienced! Three nights over the Christmas weekend. Very quiet, walking to the USS Yorktown aircraft carrier & cold war sub memorials. Easy 10 minute drive or Uber into the historic district of Charleston.
Police drive-by at night to patrol but no knock, just a wave.
