Iraq
Well lit and huge place, perfect for one night and nearby point of interest.
It's very tidy, flat and leveled as well as guarded by the friendly Police, which came along twice to check, if we are ok.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
good place to spent one or 2 nights. just talk with the gards for the entrance of the parc. they are friendly and helpfull. a police station is just at the corner. totaly safe and quiet night. visit the parc in the little morning is really a Nice experience....
Report Check-InAddition: in my experience, neither the place nor the city of Erbil itself is pet-friendly. We were spoken to unpleasantly several times with our well-behaved dog. Despite sufficient distance.
Report Check-InGood place for one night in the center of Erbil. Enough space and parking lots available. Toilets in park are only opened until 12am.
Report Check-InFelt pretty safe. Asked security point if we can sleep here. Police came around two times to check passports. They said we were welcome to sleep here.
Report Check-InBig parking lot but not a lot of people come here (End of March). Police has a building at one edge of the parking lot because they secure the national bank nearby.
In both parks there are toilets available but very low standard. Toilets in the park on other side if the street are better. The parks might be closed in the night and morning, but do not trust the opening hours on google.
Stayed here two nights as it’s walking distance to the city center. In the second night a Iranian family with car and tent arrived and camped here too.
