We changed pesos to Belizean dollars at this money exchange located in a furniture store of an Indian guy. Better rate than the official rate, he even rounded off in our advantage. The cabinets they sell function as the counter.
Coming from the south approaching the main square, you pass the Catholic church and a school. Cross the street, then you will find a Silver shop at the corner. The furniture shop is next to it. Inside you will see a sign with Shanti on it. Beware not to park in the street where the school is; it's not allowed.
