Very nice peaceful place to stay. 100 N$ pppn. Himba people looking at you but no begging at all. Feels good to give a little contribution to the town.

Very nice spot. Kids a bit intrusive but they called the man with the invoice book. NAD 100 pppn and NAD 50 for a small bundle of firewood. Very pricey but you’re supporting the community.

very nice, quiet and amazing views to the river and mountains. (no signs of elephant)
Bush Camp... nothing provided, except fireplace and firewood.
75N$ pppn.
firewood 20N$ per bundle
Japukumuka will collect the money.
Wo told him absolutely no bagging from the children in the campsite.

Follow the "Campsite" signs on main road. No facilities. Firewood provided. Shaded and near the riverbed. Lots of elephant tracks around. Beautiful region! We didn't stay as it was 2pm and 42°C.

Camp situated a bit above the riverbed. A man sitting under a tree run this camp. Be aware no toilets and no shower on the site. There is a sign. But nice view to the mountains beside, quiet and in real nature. The entrance track a bit narrow through the bushes but a lot of space on the 3 signed campspots. Flat sandy area surrounded by bushes. In the riverbed traversing some Elephants.
The man from the campsite has provided firewood for each campsite. Ask for N$ 100 ppn but was happy with N$ 100 for two pax.
We enjoyed this camp after a long driving.
