This has been a pleasant surprise. Given the pressure on local camping options, this is a quiet large space centrally located to the Cottonwood/ Clarkdale /Jerome area. In addition Cottonwood has every sort of retail option should you need supplies. The camp host (Roger) was super friendly and accommodating. There are special events happening periodically ... so check their website. There's a dump station available on site and some full hookup spaces. We paid $20/night for dry camping. We have great cell coverage. It's been very quiet. Lot's of space for walking your dog. Next door is a city park with play structures for kids.

Stayed three nights during a heat wave so we could run a/c all day. State Parks were full.

It’s $30/night with hook ups, $20/night to dry camp.

Good, filtered tasting water.

Quiet and safe. Close to everything.

For Van-lifers: it is $25/night to dry camp and $30 w/ electric. There are no restrooms. But planet fitness is only 4 minutes away. Would recommend if you are driving through and need a safe place to stay. Any other campground near Sedona or Jerome is much more expensive.

Report Check-In

Pretty basic - doesn’t seem to have bathroom and or showers. Dry camping. Quiet, I needed a safe spot to took some stuff out of the camper. Doesn’t matter if you come early in the morning which suits me this time. But even dry camping no hookups is 20$ now, no more 15$. For 20$, I think you can go to the state park and get hot shower and scenic view…

Closed for camping until Nov 1 due to special events.

Great space when everything else is full in the area. Close to any amenity you could need. We showed up after hours and paid in the morning. You enter close to the building through the gate on the right.

Nice. Quiet. Has pottable water and dump station with excellent rinse hose to clean black tank. Also has trash cans and dumpster. Friendly staff. Close to town.

Much as described. $15 dry or $25 with power. Well located, and underused. Worked well for us for 3 nights. Water and dump included.

Fairground parking lot.

We stayed here on a beautiful weekend in March. All the RV locations in town were full - even Dead Horse! My wife was about to commit to $90 freakin dollars for a site at a commercial park (don’t remember which one, but its the one that charges $90…). when i saw this listing. Tons of space. Some 50 Amp and 30 amp sites but no water at the sites. There is good drinking water available and a dump station. Virgil, the host, was very helpful and got us situated for the small fee of $15 a nite. Like I said, there were a lot of sites but probably not going to be that way when there’s an event at the fairgrounds. So, better check.

Fairground parking. Close to Old Cottonwood and other attractions. Stayed here on a beautiful March weekend when all the parks were full, even Dead Horse. We called around to private campgrounds (all full) and when my wife was about to commit to $90 freakin dollars for some parking spot, we saw this listing. Lots of open spots. Some with electrical, no water hookups but they have a free dump and good water to fill your tank. Virgil, the host, was very helpful with locating us for the tidy sum of $15 a nite for dry camping. It would, of course be a challenge if there was something going on at the fairgrounds so you better check.
