Description

Nice quiet riverside park, we stayed in our 22ft RV parked next to the river on the paved shoulder. There were several other RVs (small and large) and cars that seemed to be camped here.

There is lots of wide open grassy space, a cool train engine on display, a nice playground park area including public bathrooms, a vending machine, and an easily accessible dumpster we used to dump our trash.

3-4 bars AT&T

This spot was very nice for an informal camp spot, just had to add it on here.

Latest Check-Ins

I came around 6:30 am and I didn’t have any issues, slept until 3 pm. There were a lot of vans there. There are a lot of people who are on drugs but they didn’t bother me.

Report Check-In

Attention ! I do not recommend this location at all! It is not at all safe, people who sell and use drugs around !
I only stayed 5 minutes and people approached my car! Head to the Walmart parking lot which is a little more secure

Report Check-In

We got the knock last night. The officer said overnight parking is not allowed anywhere in the park and added that the area is frequented by "not good people" and that there's been a lot of theft and drug use in the area. He allowed us to stay for the night but advised that overnight camping here is both ill -advised and not allowed.

Report Check-In

No encontramos ningún rótulo de no overnight y habían varias vans entonces decidimos quedarnos también ya que veníamos cansados de conducir y está en un lugar tranquilo y silencioso. Full barras Verizon.

We didn't find any no overnight sign and there were several vans so we decided to stay as well since we were tired of driving and it's in a calm and quiet place. Full Verizon bars.

Report Check-In

Quiet Park. The "Overflow Parking" is not signed for no overnight parking. Local kids playing music in their cars until about 10pm. But very quiet after. Nice walking trails nearby.

Report Check-In

Scenic park, bike/walking trail, and road. Easy, dirt shoulder parking, just watch out for the trees that hang low.
I was able to sleep overnight in my 30ft RV, but I did arrive super late and leave before 8am.

There is even a dumpster, water fountains, and restrooms (I didn't use them, so I don't have any details).

VERY beautiful view and peaceful river sounds to wake up to!

Report Check-In

There is a no overnight parking sign on one of the pull offs in this park now, might be new. There are pull offs that don’t have that sign, but the sign said “park rules” so we figured it meant for the whole park and decided not to risk it. There were a few cars still parked there when we left around 9:30 pm but no campers or rvs.

Report Check-In

We came here at 2:30pm to stop and camp for the night it was very busy with birthday parties in the park but also had plenty of homeless people hanging around. Not much of a place to stay in a camper it’s more of a small public park for the community. I did not feel safe staying there so we left and went down to seven feathers rest stop and stayed.

Report Check-In

Nice riverside park with large shoulder along the road where multiple people were staying in their vehicles for the night. Pretty decent public bathrooms near the playground. There were a few unhoused people in the area but no one bothered us. also heard a few questionable "firework" noises at night... hoping thats what it was as it was only a couple days after the 4th of July.

Report Check-In

Camped here at the parking spots in front of the train near the restroom which was nice and level unlike the creekside shoulder.

Parking lot was full until around 8 but empty after that. Other vans in area and one or two harmless homeless people when I was there.

Nice disc golf course down the street and pleasant walking/bike riding in this largish park.
