Latest Check-Ins

I stayed in the reserved loop (#3) and Verizon cell coverage was fine. Not excellent but not bad. The closer you get to the hills, the worse the reception is. You can have some trees by your campsite or cell coverage, but not both.

Def do the walk up to Faux Falls if they're. running! it's a real waterfall, but it was made by diverting a stream higher in the mountains to fill Ken's lake. It's only a mile from the furthest campsites and not a difficult walk.

Stayed in the First Come - First Serve camp ground. There is a good amount of traffic for the water fall towards the entrance of the camp ground. Over a very beautiful spot with a stream near by.

First Come, campground. Beautiful surroundings

A Loop and both group sites are reservation only (Reservation.gov). B Loop is FCFS. Without discounts, $20 per night. If you reserve for A Loop, an $8 fee is added for the use of the reservation system. If you use the QR code for FCFS, you can use this feature one day at a time and a $2 fee is added for this service. Closest potable water is the Shell Station as you head north into Moab from Kens. Free RV dump station (and potable water) at the Maverick Gas Station (approx 9 miles from Kens). Nice spot to get away from the crowds; Lake itself is stocked with fish. Verizon signal had 1-2 LTE bars consistently around the CG (better in the A Loop around site 13)

Sites are large and well-spaced. Great to have a trash receptacle to use. Had to reserve online, so if you're not a senior, it will cost you $28 - $20 for the sit, $8 for the online transaction fee. It was a bit pricey.

And no Verizon, limited AT&T (maybe 1 bar)

Gorgeous scenery but I left cuz cell signal is poor. 4 Tmobile LTE bars but you can’t do anything with it. Bumpy road getting in about 1.5 miles.

Didn't stay, but walked around reservoir and campsites, also dipped in "lake" and soaked in stream. Actually a really great camp site if you have a small rig and can get a site near stream, where's there's shade!
