Hard to find. Route not well mapped from Google or gps device. Through a dumping ground. Smells terrible and road just seemed to end good n a dump.

came here thru gravel road from San Felipe couple of spots where my 4runner with 2" lift was shaping too. Do not need 4x4 but sure need high clearance. if you come thru Hwy 5 and than take gravel road that may be a better option.
after I set up, Yo and his help stop by to see what I was doing. He lives in trailers by entrance to the gravel road off highway 5. Helped me collect wood for camp fire. Great helpful guy. if you plan to stay for extended time he may squak though.

Nice quiet stop for overnight stay.

Report Check-In

The last time I been to Playa Blanca was back in 2007, there used to been brick cabins and clean restrooms always clean. Unfortunately I don't know what happened to the campsite, I heard that the state governor that time sold the property without the owner's consent and was forced to closed down I been going to that property for 20 years till it was shut down.
