Free parking lot located within a quiet and wooded residential area right outside Fort Smith. The parking lot is an access point for a series of paved and dirt bike trails. There are no amenities but is a good spot to park overnight. Do not suggest for rigs over 24 feet. Our campervan was able to find level ground fairly easily and no one bothered us all night. Parking lot is raised above main road with no homes surrounding it, so it feels pretty tucked away and out of sight. Happy to have found this! If you have a bike, highly recommend the extensive trail system! 5G AT&T with two bars - great service!
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
eh kind of just a parking lot for activities. if you bike then it makes sense. if you're just camping kind of weird to plop here.
Report Check-Inparking lot at the "trailhead", there is no signage marking this place and it seems that only locals really know about it (it is extremely easy to drive past the entrance). we have camped here a few nights over the months when passing through, nobody has ever bothered us and it's always empty. I would NOT bring a large 5th wheel in here, small campers only. it does start getting busy here in the mornings but the trails are nice to walk on before getting your day started. there's also large flat rocks that are great to do improvised exercises on
Report Check-InSmall parking lot area for Ben Geren walking/biking trail. Entrance sneaks up on you. Nice overnight place to rest. Minimal road noise. No facilities. Just a trash can and dog poop bag station.

I was a little surprised at the moderate road noise, but it dwindled by 10pm
